The high cost of treatments in developed countries is driving the growth for the medical tourism market in Asia. According to a recent report from market research and information analysis company RNCOS, Asia is home to the fastest growing medical tourism destinations worldwide. The Asian Medical Tourism Analysis (2008-2012) says that despite the economic downturn, the Asian medical tourism market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of around 14 percent over the next three years.
