The Peak Lookout has a fantastic view of Hong Kong’s Lamma Channel when it is not cloudy.
It is rustic place for a meal, with exposed stone walls, open fireplace, wooden floor, and a greenhouse-like room that extends into the garden. I recommend sitting outdoors amid the lush growth.
As for food, they serve international cuisine with a wide selection of seafood dishes from Italian, Indian, Japanese and Chinese.
The menu is eclectic, with everything from classic Thai seafood soup Tom Yam Goong to tandoori chicken tikka, pad Thai noodles, grilled steaks and salmon, and curries like Thai green chicken curry with coconut milk.
I ordered steamed mussels, grilled whole spring chicken and warm chocolate cake.
The mussels were slightly fishy and the chicken was a bit too dry; not quite tender enough. The highlight was definitely the warm chocolate cake. The molten effect was terrific and not too sweet at all.
